Hello fellow readers! I am so excited to bring you another book tag. I think this tag will help you get to know me as a reader a little bit better, outside of the type of books that I like. So, let gets into these questions!
Reading on the couch or reading on the bed?

So, this depends on if I am reading a physical book or an e-book. I hate reading physical books in bed. It is something about laying on my side and not getting the perfect angle that really bugs me. Now, if I'm on my phone or iPad, I can totally read in bed. Is that just me?
2. Main Character: Male or Female?
I honestly think I prefer female. I just feel a little weird reading a book from a male perspective when its written by a women. It just never seems to draw me in as much as a female perspective. I also, just feel more comfortable reading from the female perspective because it is familiar. Even if I am completely different than the main character, it still feels familiar.
3. Sweet or Salty snack while reading?
I don't really like eating when I'm reading. I'm not a snack eater in general anyway. I prefer large, hearty meals, to bite sized snacks. If I do eat a snack, it's usually either cheez its or some type of veggie and dip. But, like I said, I wouldn't eat those things while I'm reading.
4. Trilogies or quartets?
So, I think I prefer quartets. I say that because I've read more quartets than trilogies.
5. First person or Third Person POV?
I prefer first person POV, especially if there is only one POV. In books that follow multiple perspectives, I prefer third. A spin off of that question, I prefer only 1 or 2 POVs. I don't typically love books that follow a whole cast of characters, because I usually do not care about all of the characters, and am bored until I get back to the character I like. The only exception to that is John Marr's The One. I love that book, and he wrote every POV flawlessly.
6. Night or morning reader?
This is a hard question to answer because my answer is a little complicated. I am a mood reader, in the sense that I read when I am in the mood. Sometimes, when I am into a really good book I will stay up late and read. But, my favorite thing is to wake up early on Saturday mornings and finish a book. I recently have finished a couple books that way, I had like 100 or less pages, and I just couldn't wait to wake up, pull it up on my phone and finish it off. I really look forward to Saturday reading.

7. Libraries or book stores?
I much prefer to own my books, so book store. I do own and check out books at my local library. I think libraries are an important part of the community, but if I had to pick one for me, it would be book stores.
8. Books that make you laugh or books that make you cry?
I don't know! This is a hard one. I hardly every cry while reading, but books that bring out a strong sad emotion is what I gravitate to the most. I love an emotional book. But, then I love books that make me laugh. I don't know if I'm more comfortable reading a book that makes me sad, or if I prefer it. So, I guess I don't know...
9. Black or White book covers?
I think white, because I have so many black ones. I don't love either, I prefer pastel tones, but if I have to choose, it would be white.
10. Character driven or plot driven stories?
Always character driven, and I have to root or care about at least one character, or I am totally not in it. One example is mystery/thrillers. Often times, especially in domestic mystery/thrillers, the main character will be unlikable or unreliable, and it takes a special character to make me actually care about them if they are unlikable/unreliable. It has happened before, but in most cases, it ruins a book for me. I can separate unlikable/unreliable from care, but it has to happen.
Okay, that is the This or That book tag. I had fun deciding on my answers, and I would love it if you would answer one of the questions in the comment section, maybe the one that you think is the most controversial answer? Or the one that you feel the most strongly about. I think I feel the most strongly about character driven stories.
I hope that you are reading something you love! I am currently reading: Succubus Shadows by Richelle Mead, and loving it.
Happy reading!
