Welcome to my blog!!

Hello! Thank you for checking out my blog! I love reading, obviously! This blog will mostly have Young Adult fiction, but I have been trying to branch out into non fiction and adult fiction and new adult. My favorite series is Harry Potter (I know I'm so basic, but it will never fail to be my favorite). I've set a goal for myself of 52 books this year. So far I'm right on track but I am in graduate school and I do have an internship, so finding time for reading has been challenging. But, it has forced me to be intentional with my books and really enjoy the time I do spend escaping into these wonderful worlds. I've found that setting a goal can sometimes suck the fun out of reading, especially when I see that "2 books behind schedule" on my goodreads and all I want to do is change it. I have also set a goal of reading the entire bible this year. I am so far behind on this challenge that I'm not entirely confident I will finish it. So, to motivate myself to pick up my bible, besides the obvious motivation of spending time with God, I want to post weekly bible updates. I'm not going to hate myself if I can't keep up weekly, because my internship is intense, but hopefully every Sunday I will be able to update this blog on some of the interesting things that I 've discovered or learned through reading my bible. I'm so excited about this blog. Honestly, I watch so much booktube and I love hearing what other people have to say about my favorite books, or their favorite books, or really anything. I'm not confident enough nor do I have the resources to do booktube, but blogging is free and it involves writing, which I really enjoy.
